Gone Skiing

Posted by: Michell   in Irreverent Muse

Today, I get to do something I’ve been waiting for since I first became a father. Today, I get to take one of my children skiing.

That may not sound like anything earth-shattering and perhaps it isn’t, but it means a new stage in my relationship with my son. I am really looking forward to it.

It also means a new set of experiences I can use in my writing (naturally) but that isn’t why I’m going. I am going to enjoy some family time, pure and simple.

So, today I am going to take the day off from writing and editing and podcasting. Today, I am simply going to be a dad.

Have a good day.

Have a great time, ny friend. My dad and I always had a blast skiing in Colorado. Great bonding time :)

Some of my best childhood memories are skiing with my Dad. I hope it was a day of great memories made!

It was a good day, one we both plan on repeating. Nothing quite like spending time with your family.
