I had the pleasure to talk with Kimi Alexandre for this episode. For those of you who don’t know who Kimi is, she is a podcaster, writer and professional voice actress. And she is the founder of SpecFicDB.com If you have listened to any of the better known podcast fiction out there, chances are good that you have heard her voice. She talks about SpecFicDb, Tale Chasing (her podcast for Urban Fantasy writers), Guardians (another of her podcasts) and Voice Acting. It was a great discussion and I hope to have her on the show again.

In the feedback section of the show, I talk about my NaNoWriMo progress to date. NaNo has been another great experience thus far, but I have to say, every year has been different, but no less rewarding an experience.

Thanks for listening.

Repeat after me: “Happy Anniversary, Get Published!” Say it everywhere you go. Shout it from the rooftops. If anyone asks what the heck you’re talking about, send them here.

Sound like a plan?

Well, maybe not, but I’m certainly pleased to tell you that this is my one-year anniversary episode. I’m even happier to have my friend, Simon Rose as my guest. Simon is an author with six YA Science Fiction and Fantasy novels currently in print. He is a tireless worker (OK, maybe he DOES get tired, but he still works hard) at promoting himself and his books. He is involved in several different capacities within writing and he has a lot of interesting things to say.

I hope you enjoy the episode.

Happy New Years, Everyone. I wanted to start the new year out talking about my own personal goals for 2010. I have some ambitious plans for the coming year that I want to share with you.

I also have a great question regarding when to start connecting to people via social media. It’s a little shorter episode than the past few, but I wanted to ease into the new year.

Thanks for joining me for another year. I hope we can make it a great one together.

-Michell
